- Electric Table Lamp, 1960-1970 - Made by the Cooper Lamp Company of Chicago, known for producing high-end lamps for discriminating customers, this lamp is a good example of upper middle-class living room lamps of the 1960s. The swirl design in metal on the ceramic base echoes patterns found in contemporary sculpture, but the imitation grass-cloth plastic shade betrays its intention for the middle-class market.
